Driving out Russell Boulevard, the view to the coastal range is sparkling and clear. So much gratitude – that the air is clean and fresh after the many days of thick smoke and ash.
Noticing the trees lining the street, it is easy to be filled with gratitude for the connection we share – how the trees breathe out what we inhale.
Offering gratitude to the trees – as I walk, drive down the street, or when looking out the window – becomes a simple practice. It can bring a feeling of connection and gentle peacefulness amidst whatever else we may be encountering in our world.
May this week be filled with moments of inviting this connection, feeling grounded and oh, so grateful.
