Come sample a variety of pain reduction practices with Dr. Karen Mo and a team of local practitioners.
Participants choose two modalities at this special afternoon offering – one day only on Sunday, September 22:

- A Taste of Reiki – with Elizabeth Fulmer, RMT, Jennifer Terra
- Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/Tapping) with Laurie Williams
- Soundbath – with Brenda Mohr
- Vocal Therapy – with Emma Turnbull
1 pm – Welcome/Introduction/Opening Remarks
1:30 – First Session
2:45 – Second Session
4 pm – Closing remarks and conversation over refreshments
About the practitioners:
Dr. Karen Mo, a family practice physician with a special interest in alternative and integrative
medicine at UC Davis Medical Group, is a featured speaker with the Community Medical Empowerment Series offered through the Integrated Spirituality program at Davis Community Church.
Elizabeth Fulmer, a Reiki Master Teacher and Spiritual Director, offers Reiki training, treatments and outreach at the Village Wellness Center in west Davis, through the Integrated Spirituality Program at Davis Community Church and at the Davis Arts Center. Elizabeth co-facilitates the Community Medical Empowerment Series with Dr. Karen Mo.
Brenda Mohr, a massage therapist and Reiki Master, with additional training in Sound Healing provides sessions in her Davis studio as well as co -facilitates Reiki offerings and Singing Bowl Meditations through the Integrated Spirituality Program at Davis Community Church with Elizabeth Fulmer.
Emma Turnbull, offers vocal therapy, an exploration of how our voices are connected to our psyches and can reveal our true character and spirit. Through vocal practice that focuses on resonance, breath connection, and range, tension that isheld in our minds and bodies is released. Emma received her training from the Royal Scottish Conservatoire and the University of British Columbia.
Johanna Utter, L.Ac., FABORM has a 30-year practice treating a wide variety of health concerns, with advanced training in women’s health and a deep interest in the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Johanna enjoys teaching her patients about their bodies and the world from a traditional Asian perspective.
Laurie Williams, a transformational NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) and EFT practitioner offers individual sessions online or in person in Santa Rosa. Laurie is a Reiki Master Practitioner and holistic Nutrition educator who colleagues with Elizabeth Fulmer at the Village Wellness Center.
