Reiki Treatments
What is a Reiki treatment like?
I typically offer Reiki on a massage table, although you may receive Reiki in a chair if that is more comfortable for you.
You are invited to simply remove your shoes and relax under a blanket if you wish.
Reiki is offered through a series of gentle, non-invasive hand placements on or just above your body. There is no manipulation or deep pressure involved.
After your Reiki treatment, we’ll discuss your experience and address your questions. I ask you to allow 90 minutes for your first session.
What do I need to do to receive Reiki?
You do not have to do or believe anything to receive Reiki. You simply relax and receive.
Is Reiki safe?
There are no known medical contraindications to receiving Reiki. The only prerequisite is your consent to receive a session.
Why would I want to have a Reiki treatment?
Reiki is a safe, subtle practice that is holistic – it effectively supports balance and well-being on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. It promotes relaxation and supports the body’s healing.
What are some of the benefits of receiving a Reiki treatment?
Each treatment and each individual’s response is unique, but common responses include deep relaxation, anxiety relief, stress reduction, pain relief, and a sense of increased clarity and balance.
I provide Reiki sessions in a variety of settings so that you may receive Reiki in a way that works best for you.
